Alright, everyone get ready to see some copper soldering using the Pro 90 Soldering Iron.  To make a polished copper ball you will need:

  • Model #9010 Pro 90 Butane Soldering Iron-Click here to purchase!
  • Two Pennies (as in the coin)
  • Doming Block
  • Ball Punches
  • Flux and other tools

Our Model 9010 Pro 90 Butane Soldering Iron includes:

  • Butane Powered Soldering Tool
  • 1 mm Conical Tip
  • 2.4 mm Chisel Tip
  • Hot Knife Tip
  • Blow Torch Tip
  • Solder Dispenser
  • Protective Cap
  • Sponge
  • Carry Case
  • Instruction Manual

First, get the two pennies to match up as close as possible in size. Once they are similar, sand those suckers down. Coat the pennies with flux and setup (reference the video below). Then bust out your butane soldering iron to heat up the seam and use a paint brush technique to solder. Once soldered, file off the excess and wipe the ball clean. Voilà there you go, a very impressive polished copper ball made from two pennies.
